About This Area
A favourite with anglers, the three ponds at Waterford North Conservation Area are home to an array of fish species including largemouth bass, northern pike, and a variety of panfish. The Conservation Area features 145 campsites dotted along the banks of the ponds. Visitors can enjoy shaded picnic areas, canoe rentals and a small sandy beach with swimming area. The Waterford Heritage Trail, a section of the Trans Canada Trail, is nearby and leads right into the town of Waterford. Waterford North Conservation Area is owned and operated by Long Point Region Conservation Authority.
