About This Area

Kirk-Cousins Management Area is a birdwatcher’s paradise. A’Nowaghi Forest Ponds or, a “place of the turtles,” is an important nesting and migration area for birds and has been designated a Provincially Significant Wetland and an Environmentally Significant Area located in London, Ontario. Visitors can bask in the natural beauty of the area from two observation towers along the trail and if you enjoy bird watching over 117 bird species have been identified in the area including the green heron, brown thrasher, and northern bobwhite.
