About This Area

Kettle Creek Conservation Authority’s urban conservation area with wilderness appeal, located on the doorstep of St. Thomas is open from May 1 to September 30.
Dalewood is encompassed by 25 hectares of provincially significant wetlands, with a 10-kilometre natural surface hiking trail that meanders around it. The Dalewood reservoir is one of the few open bodies of water within the City of St. Thomas. Featuring the Evans Sisters’ Water trail, visitors can explore this 2.8 km trail that offers canoeists and kayakers views of majestic trees and wildlife from the water. Dalewood Conservation Area also offers camping, fishing platforms, and watercraft rentals.
