About This Area
Hike through this conservation area at one of the highest elevations on the Niagara Escarpment. It was named for the Indigenous peoples who inhabited the land during the early 1600s, practicing horticulture and taking part in the fur trade. The Bruce Trail connects with this 40 hectare (100 acres) site. Follow it as it winds its way through a myriad of rock faces, cliffs and crevices. A portion of the property is leased by the Georgian Triangle Anglers Association (GTAA) and used as a fish hatchery. Clubhouse and field rental are available through GTAA.
