Long Point Region Conservation Authority invites everyone to the Children’s Fishing Derby at Backus on Saturday, July 9. The derby is a chance for kids 16 and under to embrace or acquire a love of fishing with a morning spent casting and catching from the shore of the Backus Mill Pond.

$4/child + conservation area admission.

Registration takes place on the day of the event. Once you’ve entered the conservation area, sign up for the derby at the registration tables next to the Mill Pond.
