About This Area
This conservation area is located in the back country of Prince Township with access by car only during the summer months.The geology of Gros Cap is unusual because the property is situated on a batholith. The 40 kilometer (25 mile) Saulteaux section of the Voyageur Trail starts in the Gros Cap Conservation Area and parts of it over look Lake Superior.
