
About This Area
Located 19 km east of the City of Cornwall, Charlottenburgh Park encompasses a total of 234.7 acres of green space. It features a diverse environment with many types of ecosystems including white pine and spruce plantations, a mixed hardwood forest, Lake St. Francis and its tributaries, meadows, and wildflowers as well as a Provincially Significant Wetland. The park is located along a paved bicycle path with several kilometres of nature trails including interpretive signage. With YR access, this site offers swimming, jogging, hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. For those with a more sedentary agenda, the scenery is magnificent and wildlife abounds. Camping is available along with a beach, picnic area, boat launch and docks, barbecues, play structures, showers, and a concession stand.
