The Gillies Lake Conservation Area is home to the most popular walking trail in the City of Timmins. It features a boardwalk, numerous storyboard boards describing the natural history of the area, wildlife viewing opportunities and a 2.5 km lit walking trail. Gillies Lake is a beautiful 20 hectare lake located in the heart of the City.The Conservation Area can be accessed from Park Road off of Algonquin Blvd. East or from Highway 655.
