Located a short drive north of Long Point, Deer Creek Conservation Area was created in 1969 following construction of the dam and reservoir. This scenic park features 40 campsites, including 13 with electrical service and a large group camping area for youth groups. The 80-acre reservoir is a focal point of the conservation area with access for canoeing and kayaking, a boat launch, fishing docks and a small swimming beach. Enjoy a day paddling and exploring the reservoir and its many inlets. Deer Creek Conservation Area is one of the premier fishing spots in the Long Point Region watershed. Anglers can enjoy fishing for rainbow and brown trout, largemouth bass, yellow perch and panfish. Deer Creek Conservation Area is owned and operated by Long Point Region Conservation Authority.
