Elora Cataract Trailway follows a 47 km former Canadian Pacific rail corridor that runs between Elora and Cataract with access points in Hillsburgh and Erin. Walkers, cyclists and cross-country skiers enjoy the scenic countryside from Elora in the Grand River Watershed to the Credit Valley Watershed and the towering cliffs in Cataract Hamlet formed 15,000 years ago by glacial melt waters.
