Belfountain Conservation Area is located on the Niagara Escarpment in the West Credit River Valley. The 32 acre property features a suspension bridge that spans a beautiful waterfall, a fountain and other historic features. Visitors relax from April to October amidst nature’s splendour and take part in family gatherings, trout fishing in the Credit River and hiking over escarpment outcrops. The well known Bruce Trail can be accessed by Belfountain’s Trimble Trail, a Bruce Trail side trail. This park’s unique setting is also a hot spot for wedding ceremonies and photographers. Late in the season enjoy woodlands of cedar, oak, maple and birch that attract thousands of visitors each year when the trees display their autumn colours.
